Favorite Movies and TV Shows

Since each of the founding members of BeechAboo likes different shows and movies this list will include many favorites. Funny thing is that most of BeechAboo owners love many of the same shows.

The main writer for our site was a huge TV watcher as a child and watched every show listed below. He did not just watch, he can comment on every one. Talent that is worthless but still impressive in some circles. There will also be Ranting about Stupid Saturday Morning shows in this section. The main writer for BeechAboo was a huge Krofft Show fan and that explains part of his problem. Be careful putting a young child in front of a TV.

TV Group

  • Seinfeld-Simply one of the best shows ever. If you do not find this funny then you should think about a frontal labotomy.
  • Simpsons-Best TV Cartoon of all time. "Floor Pie" Slim Jim and a Slurpy.
  • Scrubs-A show that grows on you and is expertly written. After all these years this show is still rock solid and funny. This year has started out awesome.
  • Get Smart-"Would you Believe" Classic and never goes out of style.
  • Sopranos-It ain't TV it is HBO. My relative was in one episode. Bada Bing
  • Andy Griffith Show-Barney is still funny.
  • Carrol Barnett Show-Always funny
  • H.R. Pufnstuff-I hate to say it but wow was that show was CRAZY GOOD. There was some serious "PUFF IN SOME STUFF" with the inventors.
  • Banana Splits-Come on, 1 Banana, 2 Banana, Great stuff
  • David Chappelle Show-Off the hook. The Prince Episode was killer.
  • Flip Wilson Show-Old School
  • Marty Feldman Show-His eyes were huge and he was FUNNY.
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm-Larry David is King of Stupid Situations.
  • Sanford and Son-Father and Son time until my father passed.
  • Spongebob-It is annoying to some but funny to me. Spongebob Musclepants
  • 3 Stooges-Slapstick at its best.
  • Little Rascals-Great show growing up.
  • Far Out Space Nuts-Great Saturday show in 70's.
  • Krofft Supershow-Holy crap did that rule. I know I mentioned some shows from there above and below but the whole thing was awesome. It had Land of the Lost and those stupid scary as hell Sleestaks. I hate to go on a rant but I was disturbed for years about those green goblins. Mommy I can't sleep.....Oh by the way, I have an ultra rare Krofft Watch that was sold at an old FX show. Geek Alert. For more fun go to http://www.70slivekidvid.com/main.htm
  • Sigmund and the Seamonsters-What was wrong with me as a child? Did all inventors of kids shows from that generation do drugs? There were 29 episodes with characters called Big Daddy and Sweet Momma. What the hell was going on in my little mind when I was watching this crap? I even had a stupid lunch box with that green creature on it. I loved that dang show. Now look at me, writing a blog about a show that involved idiots dressed up in rubber suits with seaweed drapped over them. Oh the humanity of it all.
  • Happy Days-Good in its day but horrible on reruns. Jump the Shark!
  • Mork and Mindy-Two great comedians and odd plot.
  • In Living Color-Firemarshall Bill and tons of funny skits.
  • Laverne and Shirley-Held up better than Happy Days.
  • Munsters-Loved the opening of this show. Stupid yet catchy.
  • Greatest American Hero-Yes I watched it. It was cool for its day but so were mopeds. Both are bad to admit to knowing about.
  • Wild, Wild, West-Always costumes and trickery. Watched every show made.Secret Service agents James West (Robert Conrad) and Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin) had some of the coolest gadgets ever seen. Part of the reason one of the BeechAboo members is now a Magician.
  • ISIS-Another Krofft item that my wife loved. It was like Wonder Woman from Egypt. Girls with bad attitudes that fight crime. Gotta love that!
  • WKRP in Cincinnati-Show had it all. Funny men and subplot tension.
  • Night Court-Had the girl from Fall Guy and a great Magician. That rocked.
  • Partridge Family-Can't really figure out why I spent time watching this.
  • Alf-Loved the Alien Life Form and all the cat jokes. Why on earth did this show make it. Let me tell you why "sarcastic humor" and a stupid family.
  • Starky and Hutch-Car was cool and Huggy Bear's outfits.
  • Scobby Doo-A good show that has held its power.
  • Lost in Space-Wasted too much time watching the crazy arm robot.
  • The Monkeys-A GTO Car and goofy music spelled watchable.
  • Pink Panther-We all love the double P. Great song
  • Bionic Man-Please tell me that you had that lame doll with the stupid eye that you looked through? The show was awesome and that stupid sound when his Bionic Eye kicked in was funny.
  • Bionic Woman-Sure it was watched because of all the reasons.
  • Wonder Woman-She was beautiful and that magic lasso summed up a winner.
  • 3 Company-Two girls living with a guy and Don Knots. Summers was a beauty.
  • The Fall Guy-Heather be thy name. Show came out when some of us were in high school. Mesmerizing show of stupidity but used the same game as Hee-Haw. Did I just mention the show that sucked the worst of all time? Sorry my country friends but it is true.
  • Flipper-A super Dolphin and kids spell a sure fire way to waste my life.
  • Hong Kong Fooey-A karate kicking dog with a super voice!
  • Wings-Some great actors that went on to fame.
  • I Dream of Jeanie-Loved it. Beautiful woman and a magic bottle, what is not to love about the plot of trying to hide a beautiful woman from your friends?
  • Johnny Socko and His Flying Robot-This show was a must see and very few people remember this show. This is a violent cult classic show for kids and I swear that I had a 3 foot replica robot as a child that shot out darts. The show was also called Giant Robo. This was without a doubt one of my favorite shows on TV during childhood. Just think, a child with a butt kicking robot that he controlled.
