Wine, Beer, and More

This page will list what we think are the best of the best and what we personally like. Each person has his own taste so don't take it personal if Maddog 20/20 is not on our list of fine wines. BeechAboo recommends a designated driver unless you like spending time in jail with people that smell like cabbage and pinto beans.

Rule on the Drinks

Our good friend once told me that he drinks the good stuff because he is not an alcholic. Good rule I thought instantly. Each member likes a different drink and brand but we do recommend like anything that you partake of it in moderation. Drunk and Stupid is no way to go through life.
Great Cosmo Batman:
If you want to make a great mixed drink I would highly suggest you learn how to make a Cosmo. We like the combo of Goose Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice, Cointreau shaken until very cold and then pour into a Marini Glass. Due to "vault" issues we are not allowed ot tell the exact concentrations but trust me, you can figure it out. It totally rocks.
T and T:
That would stand for Tangueray Gin and Tonic with lots of lime. It is very refreshing and while many hate Gin try diluting it with more Tonic and you may find this drink rather nice on a hot summer day.
Captain and Diet:
A popular drink and nobody can resist doing the Captain Pose the minute the drink touches your lips. Dang Pirates and advertising. Think about it, what other odd ball historical figure sells as well as a pirate? There are many stupid commercials out there and I swear an untrained chimp could come up with better material.

The list of our favorites.

Wine:

Ferrante Winnery (Ohio). They make some nice blush wines and since they are in Ashtabula, Ohio you will need to have a glass in the winter to soak your misery.
Galena Cellars (Ilinois). Love their Reisling and they make some of the best sweet wines we have ever had.

By the way if you have not been at Galena, Illinois you should make a trip. What a cool place that time has forgot. Great shops and I would recommend eating at the Log Cabin. Great Greek style food.
